Andrew Gunn

Andrew Gunn is well-known to the Outdoor Sector, having been a director of Qualworx since its inception, and of the parent company, Skills Active, since 2002. Andrew brings with him a wealth of governance experience and has had a long relationship with the teams at Skills Active and Qualworx. In stepping down as Qualworx Chair and taking on the responsibilities of operational leadership as CEO, Andrew is excited to work with our clients, partners and with leaders of the Adventure Activities, Outdoor Recreation, and Tourism Sectors.

Andrew’s vision is that Qualworx and its auditor team make a real difference, providing leadership through rigorous and independent expertise in safety certification and risk-management frameworks to prevent avoidable injury and death.

Andrew majored in Accounting and Economics at Auckland University for his BCom and completed his Masters in Business Administration at Canterbury University focussing on strategic studies. Andrew has a keen interest in boating in the Marlborough Sounds, planting native trees, brushing up his Italian language and enjoys being part of the music and liturgy group of Holy Trinity Eastern Suburbs Wellington.
